My day at court

Today I had to be at court at 9am for a traffic violation..Jonell being the good friend she is decided to come along!
Alarm goes off and I shouted "JONELL WE HAVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE WE HAVE TO LEAVE"!!!
We ended up getting behind the slowest driver on the way there and I had the most terrible road rage ever. So finally we got downtown, parked, and had to walk two block in the pouring rain with no umbrella.. As we approached the court house we saw that the was line wrapped around the building waiting to get through the court house security. By this time it was 9:15 and I was late to court! As I'm standing in the pouring rain this elderly man in front of me offered to share his umbrella with me, oh ya just me not Jonell..too funny..Jonell had a hoodie on so he had no remorse for her! He was totally trying to mack on me. Telling me how much he loved red heads as he was putting his arm around me and leaving Jonell behind in the rain.
After getting through that uncomfortable situation we finally entered the court room, as soon as we walked in we saw a girl get locked up. About 10 mins later another girl got locked up. Tooo crazy!! Then a guy had to pay a $500 fine and his girlfriend hollared out "there goes my wedding dress." (Ok just tell everyone your problems mam..) Also another guy asked me for gum(and he wouldn't quit staring), and one guy blew Jonell a kiss. I will have to say that court was rather interesting. After waiting until 12pm my name still wasn't called, I was getting rather impatient and the court room was getting empty. I had to go ask where my papers were ....and they had to pull them. About an hour passed and finally my name was called and I had to go in front of the judge. That's a erry feeling...i hate it! Thank the Lord my charges got lowered and I only had to pay 50 dollars.. Whoo hoo..
When we left the court house my feet were killing me in my heels so I ended up walking barefooted in the pouring rain not to mention the ground was freezing. We passed by the news guys and they asked me where my shoes were and we started laughing and I told him to please don't put me on the news. Ha WHAT A DAY!!
PS.. I decided I want to be a lawyer now since I love to argue!:)

Sunday..

Today has been rather hectic!!...I've been dog sitting for a co-worker, and I'm trying to go between my house and hers. I'm starting to get very annoyed by it, only 3 more days.

I also realized today that I never have any time for ME, the only ME time I get is 15 mins in the tanning bed...whoo hoo. You would think since I live alone that I would have plenty of ME time..wrong..All I do is work, school, church, basketball, and catch up on basketball stats. So this week I'm going to spend time by myself with the exception of Monday nite. I'm going to start running again, and focusing on my walk with God. God has big plans for me and I need to get ready for them! He has shown me so much here in the past several weeks that I can't even imagine how I'm going to do it!!! But, I know that he has it all figured out. While reading tonight God brought me to several scripture's....
So I thought to myself what should I do with this? How should my life change? I must do something about what I have learned if it is going to have real significance in my life. I had to do some deep soul searching with this, I thought to myself I feel like I'm doing right but am I really giving all my time to God. So I MUST change my life, I MUST do something about what I read tonight and continue to wait for Gods hand in my life, instead of me trying to do it all.

Today.......Well I got my hair did..and well ya it's redish orange for now..but give it a few days and it will be back to the way I like it. Here's a pic of the ladies at the salon getting their hair did too..ha they were loving me..I was makin them laugh the whole time.

I finally got my own Guitar Hero! My nephews got it for Christmas, and I got tierd of going over there to play all the time so I bought my own! It's going to be a loooonnng night because Samantha went and got a extra guitar so we could play each other. :)

My friend Angela called me the other day laughing so hard because she saw this sign (she just had to send it to me).....she couldn't believe it...needless to say I saw it last year and they even do a candle light dinner...pretty romantic huh? But you have to make reservations!

The Other day I went through the drive thru at Dairy Queen at there was a sign that said if it snow's then they will give free blizzards to everyone..So today I called and they said as long as there is snow on the ground then they will be giving out free blizzards to everyone..BUT...it's buy one get one free! Remembering MLKJ

Well today is Martin Luther King Jr day..!
And all I have is this picture of me and Rosa Parks at the wax museum (at least we can sit anywhere on the bus now...my fav spot on the bus used to be the very last seat:)thanks Rosa!...i can't find the one of me and MLKJ...I wonder if someone else has it on their camera.hmmmm
Lets try to remember the reason that we have this day off (well i didn't get off today but most of the population did).


Martin Luther King, Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968), was one of the main leaders of the American civil rights movement. King was a Baptist minister, one of the few leadership roles available to black men at the time. He became a civil rights activist early in his career. He led the Montgomery Bus Boycott (1955 - 1956) and helped found the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (1957), serving as its first president. His efforts led to the 1963 March on Washington, where King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. Here he raised public consciousness of the civil rights movement and established himself as one of the greatest orators in U.S. history. In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience and other non-violent means.

King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Jimmy Carter in 1977. Martin Luther King Day was established as a national holiday in the United States in 1986. In 2004, King was posthumously awarded a Congressional Gold Medal.

Before he was the great orator of his time, Martin Luther King Jr. was a athlete and a trash talker. He loved baseball. He ran track and played basketball. And though he was small, he was on his high school football team and had a reputation as a talking trash to opponents during competition.
(I found that interesting considering I'm a big softball/baseball lover)

Bowling with the church.....

Tonight we went bowling with the college and career group, and we had a blast! I will have to say that I was the worst bowler of the whole group. But that's okay..., at least I admit it! It was nice getting to actually hang out with everyone. I don't know how many times I heard the question "Do you go to church here?"...lol.. So it was nice finally getting to meet everyone!!!ha Afterwards we went to get at El Nopal and then A few of us went to Rebeccas and Joe's. We had too much fun there, we played rock band...it's about as much fun as guitar hero.. !! Well that about sums it up, there's a few pics above of our nite!

Tonight I was a terrible aunt!

Tonight I went to my brothers to play guitar hero..needless to say Samantha rocked tonight! She's really good!!! As we were leaving I told my brother bye and left (the boys were upstairs playing gi joes) I was trying to hurry and get out to my car b/c I had my sister in law blocked in. Well I get out to my car and my phone rang..it was my nephew Zak..he said(he stutters) "Aunt Kisstel..you dddin't ttttell me bye orr gib me a kiss orr a hugg" I could hear him sniffling on the other end. I felt so bad I started apologizing and I went back inside..and huged and kissed him bye..he had tears flowing down his lil cheeks....poor guy...my brother said he was so upset that his aunt kisstel didn't tell him bye. Talk about felling like a terrible aunt!

Today was rather interesting!

Well...those of you who don't know my job is rather different! Every morning my supervisor calls me around 5:30am and tells me where to report for the day. If someone calls in I have to cover at their location. Soooo today, I had to cover at this guys office, I had never been to this piticular Dr's Office before. Well I get there, I'm looking around at the lab, checking my surroundings, and this overly chunky nerdy man comes up to me with a beeper and says..."UMMMM what's this mean?, (showing me his beeper) "I'm not sure this is my first day here, I'm covering for Mulgeta, the lab guy" I replied. He walked off..

I was rather busy this morning did around 40 patients before lunch! After lunch I come back and the fire department was outside. Some patient had a cardiac arrest~ Pretty interesting to come back from lunch and see that!!!

So anyways...I had another patient I had to draw and she wanted to be laid down! As we were coming out of the room the chunky nerdy guy says "where's Moe?".."I dunno" I replied! And continued on with my patient...A few minutes passed and one of the girls said "Have you met Dr. Webb" I said.."No"...(I didn't know Mulgeta's nickname was Moe)
Well Guess what HAHAHA Dr.Webb was the nerdy chunky guy with the beeper I never knew and I felt so dumb!!! I sure did have a blond moment today!:)

The lab seemed so dark today..... well around 4:07pm I finally found a switch that turned the light on to make it brighter..Imagine that!

And the lab guy had a EASY button ....I was lovin' it!!!!! (Jonell I told you i wanted one...remember when we were at Staples the other day?ha)

Today was a day from...hatties!

*I get a phone call this morning at 9am from my friend Maggie saying that one of my other good friends Tammy...dad has died of a massive heart attack! I was dreading the call that I had to make to Tammy, I didn't know what to say to her.. So I finally called her! It was her birthday yesterday, she said her dad didn't want to die on her birthday and he had died this morning at 4am. So terrible.. Please keep the Beck family in your prayers!

*My mom had someone look at her house today...please pray that they buy it!

*Today marks the 16th day that i've been sick with a cold...i'm sooo tierd of having a smokers cough, a smokers voice, and a runny nose...Lord help me!

*Yet again I was late to church..I don't even know why!

*This was too funny....
Today I was drawing this girls blood, meanwhile my co-worker was putting on some lotion...the patient obviously wasn't paying any attention and said..."is that my blood that smells like that?"...haha..i laughed soo hard!

* Work was crazy! I had to do a hair drug screen, well he didn't have any hair on his head so I had to cut hair out of his arm pit I was too mad...talk about grossed out!

I had to erase two previous blogs because of people getting offended...over petty stuff!
So I just want to say, that blogging is personal thoughts and opinions for other Internet readers to read. My intentions of blogging is not to offend other people! And if you get offended if I write about any of my personal thoughts, opinions, or my life experience's then please don't take the time to read my blog.

A night with tha Nephews:)

Tonight I staied with my nephews b/c their parents had to work 3rd shift. I will have to say I had a fun time! They were tooo excited when I got here...they ran out to the car screaming "Aunt Krystel!!!" They even offered to bring in my luggage which weighed about 50lbs..ha..to funny!
I showed them my pics of New York, and when I was explaing to them the wax pictures my youngest nephew Zak said "oh so they use ear wax"...LOL too funny..

I pretty much wore them out with Guitar hero hense the picture of Zak falling asleep with the guitar in his hand. They were cracking me up! I will have to admit Alec is actually better than I am at it,(I only beat him once) and Zak well let's just say he's a better singer..he know's ever word to every song!
Well..It's 12:30am and I'm just now about to carry them to bed..what a night~:)

Fairwell Jonell....

Tonight we had a going away party for Jonell! She's moving to Texas with her mom and dad, b/c her mom's job is moving. They will be leaving the first week of Feb. So we went to Franks Steakhouse tonight and also to King Pin Lanes. We had a Stellar time! I did a terrible job the first game...BUT the second game I came in second place...heck ya!:) I usually suck in bowling..but somehow those shoes did it for me..ha! I love bowling shoes...I have some kind of fetish with them..hehe:) Well Jonell I just want to say you have been one of the bestest friends a friend could have asked for - for the past 15 years and I'm going to miss you like crazy;)....Love ya girl!

The funniest thing I heard all night was when we showed up at Franks Steakhouse and Johnny aka Lil Wayne said "So what kind of restaurant is this, Italian?" We all said...LOLOLOL "DUH don't you get it Frank's STEAKhouse"..ha (what a retard)

My wierd neighbor...

Today...I checked the mail, and noticed that some of my neighbors mail had ended up in my box also. So i went next door, and knocked ....a few moments later she answered...booty hole naked...turning my head feeling disturbed..i was like umm here's your mail..and ran into my apt. Not only has she done this once..but this was the second time she has answered her door booty hole naked.....like who answers their door like that..at 2:30 in tha afternoon??? Can i get her for indecent exposure? Man ....that's sick...not only is she my neighbor she's my landlord and she's a lesbo!! How much worse can it get?

God speaks in wierd ways!

I have been wanting something so bad for so long and today it hit me hard at the oddest time! Everyday I think about this thing i've been wanting, but I've ever really have prayed and asked God to give it to me, i've just been doing it all on my own. Well today at work I was flippen through the channels and God spoke to me in a wierd way. My attention was directed toward something else and the channel was paused on "King of the Hill". While putting orders in the computer I was listening to the tv and Peggy and Frank Hill were discussing the issue of church, and how Frank didn't want to go to Peggy's church. They went to their pastor and he told them to pray about it. Well....Instantly I felt God speaking to me....he said if I just pray for it he will give it to me. Heck ya...bring it on Lord!! How wierd is that...that God spoke to me throught the "King of the Hill" show!

Home at last

Well I got in late last night... and i'm soo glad to be home! I've been sick but i'm getting better! I miss New York , but I was so glad when we stepped out of the plane onto Louisville ground:) I will have to say to everyone that you should visit NYC if you haven't ever been.. It was totally a blast! BUT if you do go, don't go during New years....it was bull standing outside for 8 hours with no water, no food, or no bathroom.. We were so tierd! Today I went to the UK game....it was such a disapoinment to say the least!!! I know i'm going to get it from all of you UofL fans...I'm ready for it so Bring it on! ha..
