My grandpa always told me never to go to bed mad at someone; because you don't know what tomorrow holds. But what do you do when that someone won't even speak to you?

Ephesians 4:31-32 "Get rid of all the bitterness, passion, and anger. No more shouting or insults, no more hateful insults of any sort. Instead be kind and tender hearted to one another, and forgive one another as God has forgiven you through Christ."

If it's going to happen...it's going to happen to me!

Last night after I got off of work Barbie asked me to go help her clean a house with her. I was like umm ok....so after I sat in traffic for an hour I finally got home and she picked me up. After two hours we finally got this house cleaned....Barbie asked me to empty the dirty bucket of water out ....so I walked down the steps in the kitchen(that were still wet) and BAMMMM...*@#%^& i slipped on the second step and fell right on my butt..on the wet floor right into the bucket of water....the bucket went flying across the kitchen and dirty water went everywhere....all over the cabinets..all over me....and all over the windows....I was soakin wet and my butt was hurting and i busted my elbow too....Barbie said, "Thanks, now we have to do our job all over again!" I wanted to quit!
I'm telling you it was a priceless moment!! Barbie was laughing sooo hard she almost peed her pants, she was also soaking wet!

(you can tell from the picture i fell pretty hard b/c that second step is pretty high up, i have a bruise on my tale tha size of a baseball..lol)

I am living proof that God has a sense of humor!

The other day I was at a Graduation waiting for my friends named to be called..well as many of you know I'm not one of the worlds most patient people and to make time go by I started to watch people that was walking by. Some call this "people watcher's"! Most of us are guilty of this. This could be a good thing for me or this could get me in trouble depending on my so called comedian mood at the moment. My problem is I notice EVERYTHING about someone...I look at everything; from facial features, hair, feet, and I can usually tell you what someone was wearing.

So this night I started to let me brain wonder in a different direction. I started thinking about God and how he has such as sense of humor. How he makes everyone so unique! I'm amazed at the creativity that God has, he is such an artist! I would love to say more but I don't want to get myself in trouble.

I also started to think about feet, one of my pet peeves is ugly feet. I think they are gross....what was God thinking when he made them...lol he's such a silly God!

Bill Cosby once said..."There is hope for the future because God has a sense of humor and we are funny to God."

Here's a photo from a moment I was "people watching" this weekend.
Is tye dye coming back?...because i've been seeing it a lot lately?

Decisions, Decisions!

I have to make some major decisions in the next few weeks! I probably should have already made them but, they are like so major that I keep putting them off..I don't know what to do....it involves a lot to do with my life and the direction that it is and will be going.. Keep me in your prayers that I will follow the right path that God has for me! Thanks!

My weekend in a nutshell!

Friday night- I started dog sitting. I went to Megan's graduation!

Saturday- I picked up my nephews and took them to Gattiland, they ended up staying the night.

Sunday- I missed church b/c my nephews let the dog out that I was dog sitting and we had to search for almost 3 hours for the dog. I almost had a panic attack! We finally found it! Then I went to Billy's graduation party.

Monday- I took my nephews to Six flags and then to Chunky Cheese.

It's been a crazy hectic weekend and I'm wore out!

Dogs really do look like their owners

I recently had a discussion with a friend about him looking like his pet..he's pretty much denying it.  So I did some research on it..and it's possible! It's official. Dogs look like their owners, a U.S. study suggests.Researchers from the University of California, San Diego showed that people choose purebred dogs that resemble them. But they weren't so fussy when it came to choosing a mongrel.Psychologists Michael Roy and Professor Nicholas Christenfeld report their findings in the May issue of Psychological Science, a journal of the American Psychological Society. The researchers explored the myth that owners look like their dogs by seeing if judges could match photographs of dogs with their owners. The researchers photographed 45 dogs (25 purebreds and 22 mongrels) and their owners, separately. The researchers then showed 28 judges pictures of the owners, their dogs, and one other dog and asked to pick the true match. The judges matched 16 purebred dogs with their owners but couldn't find a link between mongrels and their owners. The researchers also explored whether any resemblance had developed while the person had owned the dog, in the same way that a 1987 report suggested the facial appearance of married couples converged over time. The other explanation would be that owners selected dogs at the outset that looked like them, the researchers said. The researchers discounted the "length of ownership" theory when they found no correlation between the degree of resemblance and the time the dog and owner had been together. This left the "selection" theory. The researchers said the fact that resemblance only occurred in purebred dogs, which have a more predictable appearance as puppies compared to a mixed breed, supported that theory. The researchers said that a person was also likely to spend more time choosing a purebred puppy and thus be more likely to get what they want. The research couldn't establish that owners choose dogs on the basis of hairiness, size, sharpness of features, attractiveness, perceived friendliness or perceived energy level."The judges did not make correct matches by simply matching hairy people with hairy dogs, or big people with big dogs," the authors wrote. "It may be that the judges used some other more subtle trait."

Pray for the Steven Curtis Chapman family......

Please remember the Steven Curtis Chapman family during this tragic loss...here's what the press had released........

The five-year-old daughter of contemporary Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman was killed last night by a car driven by her teenage brother in the driveway of the Chapman family’s Williamson County home in Tennessee.

Maria, Chapman’s youngest of six children, was playing in the driveway when she was struck by a Toyota Land Cruiser. Several members of the Chapman family witnessed the accident.

A statement on Chapman’s website says, “Maria was rushed to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, transported by LifeFlight, but died of her injuries there.” Fans have been leaving their messages of condolences on Chapman’s official MySpace page.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Chapman family.

Undecided about Junior

The other day I had a discussion with a co-worker. (she's about 36) She had has been married to her husband for about 9 years and they don't have any children. I questioned the fact why they don't have children..and her reply was.. They both enjoy their lives the way that it is..he likes to fish and she likes to go horse back riding..She said that they have no time for children and if they would have had children that they would probably end up splitting up b/c they would be argeing all the time over who was going to take Junior etc.. they both enjoy their freedom..they both take off on the weekends with their own sets of friends and sometimes they go together..

I started lookin at my own life...i'm 26 and ever since I was a little girl I had this plan of having this dream wedding and a fairytale family with twins etc..I wanted to be married at the age of 23..well you see that didn't happen..lol! I love kids, I started baby sitting when I was 12, I helped raise my niece and 3 nephews, I took a 4 year Early childhood education class in school. Kids have been my life! But when I think about having some of my own now I think about my single life and how much fun i'm having..i'm sooo thankful I didn't get knocked up when I was doing things I shouldn't have been doing! God knew I couldn't handle it! I know God doesn't put more on us than what we can handle..

But, All in reality I don't know if I really want kids now....i really dunno....I guess i'm being selfish but I don't.......But I like to do spare of the moment things and I don't want to have to drag little Junior around everywhere...and i'm sure i will be leaving Junior at the house or in the car....lol on accident...who knows!

To Vote or not to Vote..that is the question today!

I'm sooooo sick of hearing about the elections I can't wait for it to be over! Like what is everyone going to burn their engery towards when it's over? Geezzz...
I vote for Jesus!

What I would rather be doing than sitting at the polls with a #2 pencil:

*I think I would rather be sitting in rush hour traffic.

*Going to footwashing service!

*Waiting in line for a port-a- pot at the state fair.

*Cleaning up the infield after derby.

*Picking up trash on the side of the intersate.

*Watching Westerns with my grandpa.

*Take my car to the vet.

*Getting my oil change.

*Haveing a two hour wait at Denny's

*Giving blood .....now that's a good cause!

PS...yes i'm related to Douglas Kemper!!

Now those of you who voted I hope your voted made a difference...they say every vote counts! Life will go on!!!!

What ever happened to them?

Why did I have a dream last night about Mcdonalds free kids cones..when I was little we used to get them all the time...they don't give them out anymore!

My creative mom!

I don't think I have shared this yet but, my mom and step-dad sold their house! They have had it up for sale for over a year now...and finally they have a buyer! I'm sooo stoked b/c now they won't be so far away! They are going to have to move to a apartment because now they have decided to build a house!

So anyways the other night I was at my mom's house looking in the spare bedroom at all the stuff she had packed up. When I came across an old painting that I had painted when I was like in the 4th grade. I was cracking up, not only at the picture b/c I can't draw nor paint, but my mom had framed the painting...lol it was HORRIBLE!! When I questioned her about why she had framed it, she said that she was planning on putting it up in the new house! Oh Lord help us all! (I mean the girl's lips in the drawing looks like a Nike check...lol)

Mistaken for Lindsay Lohan

While I was in Orange Co,California Chad and I went to Nordstorm's (by the way I heart this store) after hours sale. He had tickets to go to this because he's like a frequent shopper. Anyways we got there and there was this long line waiting outside the door. It was freeing cold so we decided to wait in the car until the line went down. When we finally went in there was a band playing and a row of employees standing on both sides clapping and screaming and celebrating this after hours sale. They were even handing out champagne and appetizers... It was kind of embarrassing!! We had to go through the whole line of people all the way to the end of the store..lol...i kept laughing and looking at Chad saying are you ready to leave yet..ha We just kept our heads down and kept walking!

The first place Chad wanted to go to was the men's cosmetic department. When we got there all of the workers started gathering around us smiling and greeting us. (Chad told me that they were really known for their customer service, so it was pretty neat) Anyways he started asking about some products, and the associate looked at me and said " I'm sorry that we all keep looking at you but we thought you were Lindsay Lohan when you walked in.. We were all soo excited b/c we thought a star had came tonight. Has anyone ever told you, you look like her?" Chad and I started laughing ...I replied, "Thank you, and yes I've been told that before." Then all the associates started gathering around and commenting..it was hilarious!

After we left that department I wanted to go to the Clinque department and as soon as I walked up the associated said, "Oh my God, has anyone ever told you you look just like Lindsay Lohan?" " Ha, yes I've been told!" I replied ....Chad had it,he couldn't stop laughing.. it was too funny!

It was crazy being right in Orange Co, California and being mistaken and told that looked liked Lindsay Lohan. I used to get it all the time here in Kentucky when my hair was redder....maybe I should go redder and loose more weight..ha

Now i would like to meet that chick just so I could get a side by side picture of us!

Ghetto Christians...

You Know You A Ghetto Christian If--
1. You lie on an application to get a job and then get up and testify that 'God made a way out of no way
2. You get mad at a visitor and call them out for sitting in YOUR seat.
3. You tell the preacher to baptize you from the neck down because you just got your hair did!
4. You take 2 hours to get ready for church, get there late, and leave early!!!
5. You open your Bible and you cough from the dust that flies out.
6. Your wedding song is 'Secret Lovers'.
7. You do not lift your hand during worship because your acrylic nail is broken.
8. The only time you like to sing in the choir is when

they let you sing 'your' song.
9. You do not tithe because you say, 'the preacher might be crooked and stealing the Lord's money, so I don't want to give it to him.'
10. After you've done wrong and someone has rebuked you, you don't repent but you say, 'Well the Lord knows my heart' .
11. If you have ever said, 'show me in the Bible where it says, thou shall not smoke'.
12. Your favorite part of the service is the benediction.
13. You buy 'hot' merchandise and testify the Lord blessed me with a TV, jewelry, clothes, etc
14. You overheard someone say, 'We got fed today at service' and you asked if they served chicken.
15. You just got finished smoking on the outside of the church and then try to lead a song, get choked up, holding your throat and say to the congregation, 'The devil don't want me to sing this song.'

Pissed off!

I'm sooo pissed!!! I was sooo stoked and excited about going to California tonight. Well Barbie took me to the airport tonight.... I got to the check in at the airport and the attendant told me I had a hour delay in Denver b/c of the snow...okay...I can handle that b/c I already had a 30 minute lay over....so..Barbie and I ate dinner at the airport and then off I went through security. I was a little nervous and scared and excited as I was walking through the security gates.Afterall i've never have flown alone! When I got through the security this guy volunteered to give me a ride to my gate..I thought how nice!

Anyways...I got to my gate...and I was even more nervous..everyone that was flying to Denver was already there waiting...like 30 something people..! I was like holy crap..I scanned around and finally found a empty chair..and imagine this...it was right beside my dad's old boss..how ironic is that..okay...so then my nervous level dropped b/c I knew someone!! I started chatting with them ..etc..then the Ticket lady got on the intercom and started calling off delayed flights leaving from Denver to Cali..well guess what...mine wasn't one of them...I asked the lady why and she said well mam you will be staying the night in Denver's airport tonight and you won't be able to get a flight out until tomorrow.(santa ana won't let any planes come in after 11pm...which is a gay rule if you ask me)...i was like what?...I'm not staying in Denver's nothing...If anything I will be staying in Louisville! So I ended up getting a flight going out in tha morning..not only am I mad that I'm not flying out tonight, I have to get up at 4am, I lost a night's stay at the hotel..and they won't reimburse me any money...b/c they are punks! UGHHH can anything else go wrong?

Sitting at the airport

You might see A LOT of hats at the Derby..but you also see A LOT of hat boxes at the airport!I never thought about how people get those hats here until now..lol
